Which line a finding falls on
The water side of the machine, meaning its supply connection and the valve that lets water in, is priced in the ice maker, water valve and supply line band, the same band as the equivalent work inside a refrigerator. A control that no longer runs the machine falls in the control board band. Two kinds of work have no band on this site: the drain pump and its line, and anything in the refrigeration itself. What to rule out before paying for anything
Sub-Zero’s UC-15I troubleshooting list can end a call before it begins. Give the machine a full day switched on. Make sure the delay function is not set and the Replace Filter light is not lit. Ask when the condenser was last cleaned; Sub-Zero wants it done within the past six to twelve months. Look along the drain line for a kink or a loop. Pour a cup of water behind the curtain while the machine runs, and if the spray changes, the supply pressure is the problem, which is a plumber’s matter.
