Why would a Sub-Zero stop making ice right after a filter change?
Usually the new cartridge is not turned fully into its housing, so no water gets past it. Take it out, seat it again until it stops, and give the ice maker a day; Sub-Zero says to discard the first containers of ice anyway. Still nothing? Call Sub-Zero Repair Bothell on (206) 202-2799.
Is a new ice maker module the usual fix?
Less often than it is quoted. On our no-ice calls the supply, the inlet valve or a frozen fill tube turns up far more often than a failed module, which is why the $89 visit starts at the shutoff and you hear the finding before any price.
What does the service call cover?

Do you repair Sub-Zero undercounter ice machines as well?
Yes. An undercounter ice machine has its own supply, its own filter and water spray, and a gravity drain or a drain pump, so it fails in its own ways. The order is the same: water in, then the machine, then the drain. Call Sub-Zero Repair Bothell on (206) 202-2799 with the model number.
